CalMac ferry MV Glen Rosa launches on the River Clyde

CalMac ferry MV Glen Rosa has been launched in Port Glasgow.

At 3,000 tonnes it is the heaviest vessel ever to leave the slipway at Marine Ferguson.

Newly-qualified welder Beth Atkinson named the 102m (335ft) ship.

The ship will still need more than a year of fitting out work at the quayside before it is ready for delivery.
