Bristol tailor’s ‘heart crying’ as he retires after 54 years

A tailor is hanging up his measuring tape after 54 years working in his tiny Bristol shop.

Tarcisio Paniccia has run Michael’s Tailoring on Ashley Down Road since 1969.

He officially retired in December but continues to do small alterations for his family.

He says his “heart is crying” as his mind is still young but his strength is not what it was.
