Bridlington: Sunshine-loving fish spotted off Yorkshire coast

A rare fish that usually lives in tropical waters has been spotted off the East Yorkshire coast.

The sunfish was filmed from a fishing boat near Bridlington.

Also know as a mola mola, the species is the largest bony fish and adults can grow up to 10ft (3m) in length and weigh up to two tonnes.

According to the Marine Conservation Society, it eats jellyfish and squids and got its name from its habit of floating on the surface of warm waters in the sunshine.
