Boy, 17, dies in hospital after e-bike crash with car in Grangemouth

A 17-year-old e-bike rider has died in hospital two weeks after a crash with a car in Grangemouth.

Aaron McPherson was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with serious injuries after the late-night incident on Thursday 30 May. He died on Saturday.

Police Scotland said it was still investigating the collision on the town’s Portal Road, which involved a small white hatchback car at 23:45.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged over the incident. He appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
