Boy, 13, seriously injured in seafront stabbing in Eastbourne

A 13-year-old boy has been seriously injured in a stabbing in East Sussex.

Emergency services were called to Grand Parade in Eastbourne, close to the junctions of Elms Avenue and Cavendish Place, at about 17:10 BST on Saturday.

A 13-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital for treatment, Sussex Police said.

“A group of young people were seen leaving the scene, and work is ongoing to locate them,” the force added.
