Problems have been reported on services to Coventry via Birmingham International, Cross City, Hereford via Worcester, Shrewsbury via Telford, Walsall and Wolverhampton.
At 08:30 GMT WMR said services were resuming, but warned passengers to expect “residual delays and cancellations until further notice”.
It said tickets were being accepted with National Express West Midlands, West Midlands Metro and Cross Country Trains.
