Bristol Bears have signed Wales back row forward Bethan Lewis for the 2026-27 season following her departure from Gloucester-Hartpury.

Lewis has been capped 65 times by Wales and captained the squad during this year’s Women’s Six Nations.

The 27-year-old won three Premiership Women’s Rugby (PWR) titles with Gloucester-Hartpury, having joined the club in 2018 where she made 95 appearances.

“The club has a clear vision for where it wants to go and after speaking with Scott [Lawson] and the coaching team, it is a journey that I’m keen to be a part of,” Lewis said.

“I look forward to a new challenge and to be able to grow both on and off the field.”
