Ben Kellaway’s ‘priority’ is Glamorgan after Lions omission

Ben Kellaway says his focus is on “impacting games” for Glamorgan after missing out on selection for England Lions.

All-rounder Kellaway hit 139 in the opening day of Glamorgan’s County Championship game at Warwickshire.

Earlier in the day Kellaway had not been included in Lions’ squad for two four-day matches against South Africa A later this month.

“It was a bit of a slight disappointment that maybe I wasn’t involved,” Kellaway told BBC Sport Wales.

“But at the same time, I’ve had a bit of a stop at the start of the season and maybe haven’t had that game time fully under my belt.

“I’ll just keep striving and keep pushing performances in for the team and then wherever that gets me, that’s where it is.

“My priority at the minute is impacting games for us.”
