Belfast: Man in critical condition after cyclist collision

A pedestrian in his 40s is in a critical condition in hospital after a “serious” road traffic collision with a cyclist.

The collision happened in Newton Park in south Belfast at around 12:45 BST on Saturday.

The cyclist, a man aged in his 30s, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about what happened, or who has dash-cam or other footage to contact them.
