Ritson has spent this year on loan with the Raiders in the Championship, scoring 13 tries in 17 matches until his campaign was ended by an ankle injury.

The 29-year-old made 26 Super League appearances for Saints and scored three tries after joining them in 2023 from Barrow, where he had been a prolific try-scorer in the second tier.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time back on loan here this year, and I’m grateful to everyone at the club and to all the fans for welcoming me back with open arms,” said Ritson., external

“I’m at a point in my career now where I just want to be playing regularly and enjoying my rugby, and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing this past year.”
