An American woman who identifies as a dog has given an insight into her life living as a canine including sleeping in a dog crate, eating dog treats and getting walked by her “handlers”.
The Twitch star, who goes by the name of Meow and has over 11,300 followers, appeared on KIIS FM’s The Kyle & Jackie O Show on Thursday to discuss her unusual life.
On the show, Meow explained that she identifies as a Dalmatian and will bark and run on all fours.
She also chooses to sleep in a dog crate, which helps her to feel “safe”.
Meow said: “I have pastel blankets and pastel pillows in there, something about being in a confined space, I don’t know if it makes me feel safe from the world or makes me feel like the world is safe from me but it feels comfort for sure.

Meow told the hosts that she is single but has “handlers” who help take care of her including feeding her and taking her for walks – but she doesn’t need to pay them.
She went on: “I have handlers. Kind of like dog trainers. They feed me, they take me on walks, we practice training, which is one of my favourite things, because I get treats.”
Her handlers feed her shredded chicken, jerky and sometimes even dog biscuits as “treats,” but occassionalty she will also eat dog food.
The social media said she doesn’t let other people’s opinions of judgement get to her as she feels “more human” when she connects with the “primal, animalistic” part of her personality.
