Six candidates in a forthcoming by-election make their case before constituents – and a BBC Wales TV audience.

Voters in Caerphilly are due to decide who will be their new Member of the Senedd (MS) in Welsh Parliament in Cardiff Bay.

The by-election, which takes place on 23 October, follows the sudden death of local MS, Hefin David, in August.

On Wednesday night, six of the eight candidates took part in a live televised debate, answering a number of questions posed by the audience.
