Tennessee-based TikToker Kalani Smith had never been to the UK before six months ago – but now he spends his time reviewing British food as his full-time job.
After initially finding success posting ghost hunting content on social media, his channel now consists of him reviewing cuisine from across the UK to his more than three million followers.
On a recent tour of south Wales, Mr Smith said fresh Welsh cakes, from Cardiff Market, were a highlight, followed by tacos.
However, while he enjoyed cockles and laverbread, he said laverbread on its own was a “big mistake”.
