Woman charged with murder in Dundee after man, 97, dies

A woman has appeared in court charged with murder after the death of a 97-year-old man in Dundee.

The man was taken to hospital after an incident in the city’s Dryburgh Gardens but later died on 25 May.

Tandy Swinton, 43, of Dundee, appeared at the city’s sheriff court charged with murder and attempted robbery.

She made no plea and was remanded in custody.
