Woman, 66, dies after Hogmanay car crash in Glasgow

A 66-year-old woman has died after a car crash on New Year’s Eve in Glasgow.

Police were called to a crash involving a black Mercedes A class on Mansionhouse Drive near its junction with Croftspar Place at 16:10 on Wednesday.

The driver was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where she died the next day.

Sgt Adnan Alam said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the woman who has died.”
