Wiltshire mother in court over death of son in Dorset car crash

A mother accused of causing the death of her nine-year-old son by dangerous driving has appeared in court.

Zac Roe, from Andover in Hampshire, died at the scene of a crash in East Woodyates, north Dorset, on 25 March 2024.

Barbara Roe, 39, of Ludgershall, Wiltshire, appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday where she did not enter a plea to the single charge.

The case was sent to Bournemouth Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 6 March and she was released on conditional bail.
