Will Stuart: England prop extends deal with Bath to 2028

England prop Will Stuart has signed a new deal with reigning Prem champions Bath until 2028.

The 29-year-old has 55 England caps and made 16 appearances for his club as they ended a 29-year wait for the league title last year.

Stuart has not played since early December after rupturing his Achilles tendon against Munster in the European Champions Cup, meaning he is also missing England’s Six Nations campaign.

He has made 105 appearances for Bath since joining the club from Wasps in 2019.

“I can’t really put into words the contrast from the 2021-22 season. Losing at Sixways in the last game of the season and confirming our place at the bottom of the table, to last summer and the elation of turning the bus into Great Pulteney Street and seeing the roads swarming with fans [after winning the Prem title],” he told the club’s website, external.

“Pride doesn’t really do it justice. So, in light of that, who wouldn’t want to give it another crack?”

Stuart follows Kepueli Tuipulotu and Vilikesa Sela to be the third member of Bath’s front row to put pen to paper on a new contract in the past three days.
