What do Georgians want from Marjorie Taylor Greene’s replacement?

Voters in northwest Georgia have finished voting in the special election to decide who should replace former Republican firebrand, Marjorie Taylor Greene. The election has resulted in a runoff between Republican Clayton Fuller and Democrat Shawn Harris, which is scheduled for April.

Greene, an ally of President Donald Trump, announced in November she would be resigning at the start of 2026. That left Georgia’s 14th Congressional District without representation in Congress, and has sent voters to the polls on 10 March to decide her replacement.

The BBC’s Kayla Epstein spoke to voters in Rome, Georgia about their choice today.
