‘We’re not supposed to experience grief on our own’

A woman whose infant son died now holds grief disco events to help others, saying grief is not supposed to be solitary experience.

Georgia Jones lost 16-month-old Osian in March 2023 after he was born prematurely.

She said that 70% of those who attended the first event last year were on their own, showing “how lonely grief is”.

The second in-person grief disco in Cardiff will take place at The Sustainability Studio on Friday.
