Waterloo: Three men cleared after fatal stabbing retrial

Three men who faced a retrial over the fatal stabbing of a man in central London because of a “mistake” by a jury forewoman have been cleared of all charges.

Adrian Keise, 32, was attacked outside the Cubana restaurant in Lower Marsh Street near Waterloo station in the early hours of 29 October 2022.

Matthew Yussuf, 24, Paul Yussuf, 22, and Moussa Traore, 25, were initially acquitted at a trial in January 2024, but the judge was then told jurors had not all agreed with the verdict.

At the Old Bailey on Tuesday, the Yussufs, who are two brothers from Southwark, were acquitted of murder and manslaughter, while Mr Traore, from Wandsworth, was cleared of manslaughter.
