Watch: BBC asks Israeli minister if aid workers were targeted in strike

In an interview with the BBC’s Caitriona Perry, Israeli Minister for the Economy and Industry Nir Barkat said the strikes, which killed seven aid workers in Gaza, were “not intentional”.

Mr Barkat said he was sure there had been a mistake, and that the Israeli army would investigate.

His comments come after José Andrés, founder of the World Central Kitchen charity, accused Israeli forces of targeting his workers “systematically, car by car” on Monday.
