He was detained with the help of the National Police Air Service and armed officers, having escaped from hospital at about 22:00 on Sunday.
It followed Crimestoppers offering a reward of up to £5,000 for information on his whereabouts.
Taylor, from Ipswich, and the other two arrested men were taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
“It is right and proper that he now serves the term of his recall and be presented to the courts on the charges against him,” Mr Martin added.
