Two people have been arrested following the “sudden and unexplained” death of a man in York, police have said.
The 28-year-old was found collapsed by paramedics at an address on Wood Steet in the Heworth area at about 23:00 BST on Friday.
He died in hospital in the early hours of Saturday, a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said.
A 54-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the investigation and they remain in custody, the spokesperson added.
The force has appealed to anyone with information about the man’s death to get in touch.
