Two men arrested after fire at asylum accommodation

A further two men have been arrested in connection to a fire at a building housing people applying for international protection in Drogheda, County Louth.

Five people, including four children, had to be rescued from the building on 31 October.

Gardaí (Irish police) previously arrested two men, both in their 20s, who have since been charged with arson offences.

A man in his 20s was arrested in Dublin on Monday, followed by a man in his 40s in Drogheda on Tuesday morning.
