Two charged over Glasgow motorbike crash that killed pedestrian

Two men have been arrested and charged over a crash that killed a pedestrian in Glasgow last year.

David Gow, 79, was hit by an off-road motorbike on Balmore Road in the city’s Lambhill area on 12 February 2023. He died at the scene.

Police Scotland said that the two men, age 23 and 24, were released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.

A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Sgt Paul Mellis said “Our thoughts remain with Mr Gow’s family and friends.

“Thank you to all who came forward with information following our appeal.”
