Two charged over £300,000 cannabis find at Edinburgh flat

Two people have been arrested after cannabis plants worth £300,000 were recovered by police at a flat in Edinburgh.

Around 500 plants were found at the flat in the city’s Ochiltree Gardens on Monday.

Police Scotland said a 25-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman had been charged and would appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court later.

Insp Scott Casey said: “Serious and Organised Crime remains a priority and we are committed to detecting offences and disrupting criminal enterprises.”
