Tracking President Trump’s love for charts over the years

US President Donald Trump announced sweeping global tariffs on 2 April, which he has dubbed “Liberation Day.” Delivering remarks from the Rose Garden, he used a few hand-held charts to show the tariff percentages imposed on each country. It wasn’t the first time he’s used visual aids to make a point.

We take a look at the president’s use of charts and posters that goes back to his 2016 presidential campaign.
