Three arrested on terror charges after pro-Palestinian Action rally

Three people have been charged following a pro-Palestinian Action rally in Edinburgh.

Police Scotland officers attended the event at Regent Terrace on Saturday.

The force confirmed two women and a man have now been charged in connection with terrorism offences relating to supporting a proscribed organisation.

A spokesperson said a report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

They added: “Extensive Inquiries remain ongoing to identify people seen wearing T-shirts and holding banners showing support for a proscribed organisation.

“Evidence is being reviewed and further action will be taken as appropriate.”
