The US remembers its fallen with wreaths, bagpipes and salutes

US President Donald Trump marked Memorial Day at Arlington National Cemetery during the 158th annual observance.

He laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in a solemn ceremony, while across the country Americans held moments of silence, placed flags and joined processions in honour of fallen service members.
