A South Wales Police spokesperson said a 31-year-old man also arrested in connection with the incident had been released on bail pending further investigation.
Two other men aged in their 30s, who were also arrested, had been released under investigation, the spokesperson added.
In a tribute to Joshua Norman, his family described him as “a loving son, father, brother, and uncle who cared deeply about all his family”.
“He was a beautiful person whose smile and sense of humour would light up any room and any heart,” they added.
Mr Norman’s family said they would miss him terribly and they asked for privacy at this time “to grieve the loss of our dear son”.
