A 41-year-old man has been arrested another man was hospitalised following a serious assault, police have said.
The incident took place on Heol y Deri, Cwmrhydyceirw, Swansea shortly before midday on Thursday, according to South Wales Police.
The injured man, also 41, from Townhill, has been taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
The arrested man, from Ynysforgan, remains in police custody, and police say the investigation is ongoing.
