Swansea City ‘in a flow’ as Eom Ji-Sung returns for Portsmouth – Luke Williams

But Williams has brushed off concerns over Swansea’s energy levels as they face opponents who have not played for three weeks, saying: “The players are in a flow.

“Yes there are going to be some tired bodies and a couple of broken toes in there and whatever, but it’s nothing they are not used to and can’t cope with.

“We have had a busy schedule, but we got a good result so that’s given everyone a boost, and we love playing at home as well, so that’s given everyone a boost as well.

“We are not feeling sorry for ourselves in any way. We are looking forward to the game.”

Swansea head into the weekend sitting 11th in the table, five points adrift of the play-off places.

Portsmouth, who were League One champions last season, are four points adrift of safety at the foot of the table, though they have two games in hand on most sides in the division.

They claimed just a second win of the season in their last game, against Preston on 9 November.
