Proposals to turn Glasgow’s former Archaos nightclub into student accommodation have been recommended for approval by city planners
The three-floor dance music venue rose to popularity in the late 90s, before closing its doors in 2007.
Developers want to build a 14-storey accommodation block with 195 beds, a cinema, gym and games lounge.
The property on Queen Street has been vacant since 2010 after its owners went into liquidation. The plans will be discussed by the council on Tuesday.
