The American singer joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975, helping them become one of the most successful music acts of all time with more than120 million records sold.
Rumours, the band’s second album with Nicks, became one of the best-selling albums worldwide.
As a solo artist, Nicks has enjoyed success with albums such as Bella Donna which peaked at 11 in the UK albums charts and The Other Side of the Mirror which reached number three in 1989.
In April 2019, Nicks became the first woman to be elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, once as a member of Fleetwood Mac and again as a solo artist.
The week before Nicks cancelled her show at the OVO Hydro, American singer Megan thee Stallion also cancelled her Glasgow gig that was set to take place at the venue on Saturday at short notice.
She said this was due to construction at the venue.
