Starmer’s first PMQs question as new leader

The prime minister has taken up his new role of answering questions at PMQs in the Commons.

After asking questions to Rishi Sunak for months, the roles have been reversed with Sir Keir Starmer answering questions from the Conservative leader at the dispatch box.

Mr Sunak asked him about Ukraine’s request for help in the war against Russia where the new PM said he would carry on Mr Sunak’s approach of working with the opposition.
