Somerset farmer bride rides favourite cow to wedding

White Chocolate Button has previously taken part in other festivities at the farm.

“She’s used to being dressed up as a ghost for Halloween,” Lee said.

“She gets a bed sheet put over her with eyes and ears cut out, so she’s used to it.”

The bride was transported to the village on a tractor before making the final part of the journey on her cow.

She was flanked by her bridesmaids as bride and cow made their way to the church.

After the ceremony, there was a guard of honour outside the church, comprised of groomsmen holding aloft a selection of farming tools.

Guests at the wedding reception had to entertain themselves for a couple of hours while the couple went to milk the cows immediately after the ceremony.

They were joined by the newlyweds – minus White Chocolate Button – later that evening.
