A man who was jailed for killing a serving policewoman when a stolen car he was driving crashed into hers has admitted to being unlawfully at large from prison.
Appearing before Craigavon Crown Court on Wednesday, Shane Frane, 37, admitted to being unlawfully at large on 17 January this year after breaching the conditions of his temporary release from jail.
In 2014, Frane was jailed for at least six years after he admitted the manslaughter of Constable Philippa Reynolds in Londonderry in 2013.
After going on the run, Frane was eventually detained by police in the Republic of Ireland on 1 February and extradited to Northern Ireland on 6 February.
