A boy has died after an incident at a swimming pool in county Clare.
It happened in Killaloe, which is north of Limerick.
Emergency services responded to a call for help at around 15:00 BST.
The boy was taken to University Hospital Limerick and died a short time later.
Gardaí (Irish police) say the coroner has been notified.
