Serious two vehicle crash involving bus and car

Emergency services have attended a serious two vehicle crash on the Derrylin Road near Enniskillen, County Fermanagh.

It is understood a bus and a car were involved in the crash on Friday evening. The police said the Derrylin Road junction with the Tiravally Road in Enniskillen is closed, with “diversions in place at both the Enniskillen and Derrylin Road sides”.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) said it received a 999 call at about 19:00 GMT. NIAS despatched two rapid response paramedics, two emergency crews and an ambulance officer to the incident.

A spokesperson said that “following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, no patients were taken to hospital”.
