Scottish Premiership fixtures out on Friday

In short, no.

Some teams are already back, with some playing friendlies as early as this weekend.

The Premiership teams who aren’t involved in European qualifying commence their League Cup campaign on Saturday, 12 July.

On the continent, Rangers face Panathinaikos on 22 July in Glasgow in a Champions League qualifier first leg. The return is the following week.

Hibernian go to Denmark to face Midtjylland on Europa League qualifying duty two days later, while Dundee United are at home to UNA Strassen of Luxembourg on the same night on a Conference League mission.

Again, the return legs will come the next week.

Celtic and Aberdeen won’t go into their play-off round ties for the Champions League and Europa League respectively until 19/20/21 August – well after the domestic season kicks off.
