Scottish Cup: Aberdeen v Motherwell postponed after heavy rain

Airdrieonians host St Mirren on Friday (19:45 GMT), with that game live on BBC Scotland, iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app.

Three games kick-off at 15:00 on Saturday before Celtic v Dundee at 17:30.

Then on Sunday, Rangers host Queen’s Park at 14:00 before the live BBC Scotland TV match, Stenhousemuir v Falkirk, at 19:30, with that match also shown on iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app.

All of Saturday and Sunday’s afternoon games will be covered on BBC Radio Scotland and Sounds, with Saturday’s 15:00 games on FM and Sounds and Celtic v Dundee on Extra and Sounds and Rangers v Queen’s Park on Sunday on all frequencies.

Motherwell said: “A match official inspected the Pittodrie surface and deemed the pitch not playable at this time.

“With continued rainfall expected between now and kick off in Aberdeen, an early decision has been made to ensure the 1,100 Motherwell supporters do not begin travel to Aberdeen, as well as the Motherwell squad.

“Whilst we remain disappointed at the match not taking place tomorrow night, we appreciate the transparency and proactiveness of all parties during this process.”
