Rhiannon Bragg: How will I feel on the day my attacker is released?

In 2019, Rhiannon Bragg was held at gunpoint by an ex-partner. The moment was caught on CCTV and he was subsequently sent to prison.

Ms Bragg, a domestic abuse campaigner, told the BBC how she feels about the release and the Crown Prosecution Service’s communication on this.

The government’s Safeguarding Minister Laura Farris said that how long a prisoner is detained is outside of her power.
