Rachel Reeves: Closing tax gap is ‘not rocket science’

Shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves has said Labour’s plans to tackle tax dodgers are “not rocket science”.

The party says giving more money to tax officials would help to raise £5bn a year.

“It’s about properly resourcing HMRC, making sure more cases are investigated,” Ms Reeves told the BBC’s Nick Eardley.
