Alwen Jones o Amlwch oedd ysgrifennydd y pwyllgor gwaith ar gyfer yr Eisteddfod yn 2004.
A dyma sy’n aros yn y cof iddi hi.
“Un o fy swyddi, a be’ dwi’n cofio fwyaf, oedd tywys llywyddion y dydd o amgylch. Oedd ‘na Lywydd y Dydd, gwahanol rai bob dydd.
“Dwi’n cofio tywys Gwyn Hughes Jones. Roedd o wedi cynnal cyngerdd ar y nos Sul ac mi oeddwn i’n ei dywys ar y dydd Llun, a dau gam, ac roedd ‘na rywun yn ein stopio ni!
“Mi gymrodd o oria’, pobl yn ei longyfarch o.
“Un arall dwi’n cofio cymryd o gwmpas oedd Iwan Llywelyn Jones o Amlwch ac wrth gwrs roeddwn i’n ‘nabod o hefyd.
“Be’ dwi’n gofio ‘efo fo – mynd i babell a phrynu crys-t a gofyn i mi ddewis pa grys-t iddo fo wisgo…”
Flynyddoedd yn ddiweddarach, dywedodd Alwen ei bod hi’n “cofio gweld Iwan ar ryw raglen deledu wrth ymyl ei biano mawr yn ei gartref yn Llundain a’r crys-t ‘ma amdano fo, a fi ddudodd wrtho fo am brynu hwnna!”
