A number of people have been moved from their homes due to a security alert at Roosevelt Street in south Belfast.
Several items have been recovered after a search of a property during the early hours of Thursday morning and have been removed for further examination.
Residents in Iverna Street have also been evacuated, and the Sandy Row Community Centre has been opened for people.
A man and a woman were arrested after the search.
Police officers remain at the scene alongside Ammunition Technical Officers.
