Powys: What happened in the Wales train crash?

A man has died following a low-speed collision involving two trains in Wales, British Transport Police (BTP) confirmed.

There is speculation that there are passing places on the The Cambrian Coast line but one of the trains did not stop here to allow the other train to pass.

One passenger said the train seemed to slide on the track, it managed to slow down but did not avoid the crash.

Dyfed-Powys Police said 15 people were taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

BBC Wales reporter Craig Duggan reports from the scene.
