Police officer taken to hospital after Dundee crash

A female police officer and a 24-year-old man have been taken to hospital following a car crash in Dundee.

The incident, which involved a marked police Peugeot 308 and a blue Ford Fiesta, occurred on Saturday on Clepington Road at Strathmartine Road.

The police officer and the driver of the Fiesta were taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.

Sgt Jamie Hays said: “Our enquiries are continuing into the cause of this crash and I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.”
