A police officer has been injured after being struck by a quad bike in Bradford.
The officer was hurt when police were called to Tong Street on Sunday after reports of a group of men riding off-road bikes dangerously in the area.
Video posted on social media shows about a dozen vehicles being ridden along the road, one of which collided with the officer as he stood in the middle of the street.
West Yorkshire Police said a 27-year-old man, from Huddersfield, had been arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and driving over the prescribed limit after testing positive following a drugs test.
The force said the injured officer had been treated in hospital for a leg injury.
A spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any video or dashcam footage is asked to contact the police to assist with their enquiries.”
