Police hunt woman who fled after crashing car into parked truck in Perth

Police are hunting for a woman who fled the scene after crashing her car into a parked truck in Perth.

The incident, which involved the woman’s white Ford Focus and an Isuzu pickup, happened on Burghmuir Road, near Anderson Drive at about 07:30.

Officers said she left the scene carrying a black handbag, black suitcase and a red carrier bag, walking in the direction of Firbank Road.

Police said they were concerned the woman may have been injured in the incident.

PC Ramsay Scott said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident and hasn’t already spoken to police to get in touch.

“I would also ask anyone in the area who may have dash-cam or private CCTV footage which could assist to contact us.”, external
