Police are hunting for a group of teenagers who sprayed a train passenger with a fire extinguisher while filming the attack.

British Transport Police (BTP) said the man was assaulted by four boys on a ScotRail service at Linlithgow railway station just before 10.30 on Sunday.

A video of the incident, which was shared online, shows the group using abusive language, throwing food, and spraying the man with foam before running off the train.

A BTP spokesperson said officers were “continuing to investigate” and anyone with information should get in contact.
